Instructions
Step 1
Prepare ingredients: slice the banana, measure the frozen mango and oat milk, grate the ginger and have the Manuka honey ready.
Tip: Freeze the banana slices ahead of time for an extra creamy texture.

Step 2
Add banana, frozen mango, oat milk, turmeric, grated ginger, vanilla, lemon juice and a pinch of salt to a high-speed blender.
Tip: Start on low speed and ramp up to avoid splashing; scrape down the sides once if needed.

Step 3
Blend until completely smooth, then add Manuka honey and blend briefly to combine. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more oat milk and pulse.
Tip: Add the Manuka honey at the end to retain more of its flavour profile and beneficial compounds.

Step 4
Stir through the chia seeds, pour into two glasses or bowls, then leave to sit for 3 minutes to allow chia to plump and the smoothie to thicken.
Tip: If making ahead, chia will continue to thicken the mix — thin with a little extra oat milk before serving if needed.

Top with sliced banana, toasted coconut or granola and finish with a small drizzle of extra Manuka honey. Serve immediately.
