Green Manuka Honey Smoothie with Avocado & Kiwi

Instructions
Step 1
Prepare the produce: peel and halve the kiwifruit, halve and pit the avocado, and roughly chop the banana if not frozen. Rinse and drain the baby spinach.
Tip: Use a frozen banana for a thicker, creamier smoothie and to reduce the need for ice.

Step 2
Add spinach, avocado, kiwi, banana and oat milk to a high-speed blender. Add the Manuka honey and spirulina (if using). Secure the lid and blend on high until completely smooth.
Tip: Start blending at a low speed then increase to high to help the mixture emulsify evenly.

Step 3
Add chia seeds and ice, then pulse briefly to combine. If the smoothie is too thick, add a splash more oat milk and pulse again until you reach the desired consistency.
Tip: If you prefer a smoother texture, stir the chia in after blending and let sit for a minute for slight swelling instead of pulsing.

Step 4
Taste and adjust sweetness with an extra teaspoon of Manuka honey if desired. Pour into two glasses and garnish with a sliced kiwi, a drizzle of Manuka honey and a sprinkling of chia seeds.
Tip: A thin drizzle of Manuka honey on top creates an appealing shine for photos and a burst of flavour in every sip.
