Ingredients

We choose to use Mānuka honey in our honey wound ointment due to its incredible healing properties. Unlike many modern antiseptics and first aid ointments that rely on synthetic ingredients, our ointment harnesses the natural power of Mānuka honey. Unlike synthetic ingredients that indiscriminately kill bacteria, Mānuka honey targets harmful bacteria while preserving the beneficial bacteria on your skin. This is important because your skin contains both good and bad types of bacteria. Healthy bacteria help balance the natural skin biome, which contains critical enzymes and amino acids. By destroying these parts of the skin biome, synthetic ingredients not only damage your skin in the long term but also promote the development of antibiotic-resistant bacteria that are harder to fight. For more information about the effectiveness of Mānuka honey, please refer to our FAQ page.

Additional Information

Please note that Manuka Honey does not require refrigeration. It can be stored at room temperature. Refrigeration may cause the honey to crystallize, but this does not affect its quality or effectiveness. Manuka Honey has a long shelf life and can be enjoyed for months or even years when stored properly. For more information on Manuka Honey storage and usage, please refer to our FAQ page.
